Full Route We have divided the 83 mile trail into three stages – 31 miles / 22 miles / 30 miles – and then again divided into day walks which vary from 12.6 miles to miles. We have tried to start and finish in places where there is public transport and accommodation but due to the rural nature of the trail, this has not always been possible. Using the Route Maps We are using the walking app, Outdoor Active, to provide maps from this website. On each of the day walks, you will see a Learn More button which will open the map in the Outdoor Active app which you can have on your phone. You will be able to access all with a free Outdoor Active account, but if you upgrade to ‘Pro’ then you can use the Ordnance Survey TOPO maps and also download the maps for use where there is no phone signal (highly recommended). If you do not wish to use the Outdoor Active app, please just download the GPX files which are available throughout the site and upload them onto your own favourite walking app. More information about the route: Use the buttons below to navigate to the three stages of the route which are again presented as days walks (3 days for Stages 1 and 3 and 2 days for Stage 2). Below the map shown here, you will see details about current trail issues and you will find this available at various places around the site, as well as a link to all the GPX downloads.
